Thanks for such a great place to research Gandhiji.
I have been searching all over the web, trying to find the text of
Hind Swaraj. I feel that this text is one of the best writings by Gandhiji.
And I would like to be able to refer people to the actual text or, extended
excerpts of it.
Might that request be possible, in the near future?

Hi
i work with local homeless acticists here, in Eugene ,Oregon USA.
Homeless and poor people in industrialized nations are getting "fed up."
I think we are in a period of time where a "window of opportunity"
exists - to find non-violent solutions to these problems.
Otherwise, I fear chaotic, violent action by frustrated people.
I notice a new "wavelength occuring" - homeless and poor beginning to insis
on the enforcement of their "Human Rights" according to international law.
In june, homeless from Phila, PA are marching on the UN in the first demonstration of
its kind.
So far, the UN has only focussed on the rights of those in 3rd world
countries (and rightfully so). Now, it seems like a time for poor
people all over the world to insist on their international human rights.
Do you folks have an interest in this topic?
We have a homeless newspaper here, "'oikos" which is sold on the
streets by homeless people. Feel free to submit an article, or
network with us.
poverty and homelessness are issues that need to be resolved
permanently - and soon - worldwide.
