With Video Conference
With emerge of the internet in India, 'The Foundation for Homoeopathy Research', a leading organisation from Bombay offered homoeopathy service on-line. The web-site called: www.classicalhomoeopathy.com today attracts over hundred visitors daily and a great deal of information has been put up on the site promoting the homoeopathy benefits. Dr.Rajesh Shah, the director of the organisation, responded personally to over 15000 questions put to him from corners of the world.
The beginning of the new year will see a novel and useful hi-tech facility offering a face to face interaction with video-conference technology over the internet. Under the banner of 'Homoeopathy India Foundation' Dr.Rajesh Shah will now answer personal questions, face to face over the computer screens, giving authentic information about the role and scope of homoeopathy medicine to anyone in the world. With the help of a hi-tech but simple, technical device consisting of a kit of video camera and software, the barrier of distance is eliminated to a great extent.
Why videoconference?
We have been answering personal questions over the net and had unbelievable response.
We realised two things: one, people are interested in trying alternative health measure such as homoeopathy. Two, there is inadequate information available for people at mass, as many countries in the world do not have recognized homoeopathy doctors. We also identified that most towns and villages world over do not have the facility of visiting a qualified homoeopaths.
If we have to spread the benefits of homoeopathy to the mass, at a global level, the internet is the best medium. We have already replied to thousands of people by e-mail, but with the incoming of the video-conferencing technology, it will surely give more personal touch. And, the good news is that the new technology is affordable by a common man, especially in the western world.
Does it cost to get information?
Absolutely nothing. Our organisation is known in the international homoeopathy circuit for educational and promotional activities. To obtain the most authentic opinion and information about the role of homoeopathy for any ailment, there is no charge. Dr.Rajesh Shah makes it a point to answer the questions personally. Additionally, Dr.Shah is offering 45 minutes of time every alternate morning to answer queries on the videoconference for face to face talk. Of course, a prior intimation is required for this session.
Is it possible to treat on-line?
We have a policy of suggesting the respondents to consult a local homoeopath in their native place. If required, we suggest them a homoeopathy institute in their city/country, whenever possible. Those people who do not have local source for treatment, we make on-line treatment available to them. We have designed a long-distance treatment protocol that makes the on-line treatment convenient.
Dr.Rajesh Shah firmly believes that this technology is in the infantile stage and one day it will surely revolutionarise the modality of medical consultation in future. We are just taking a little step upwards.
