Why one more seminar ?
In the midst of diverse approaches and methods of prescribing, one often gets puzzled when it comes to apply the same in the practice.

It is our quest to learn a new skillful technique that a teacher demonstrates in a seminar, which drives us to attend one. Unfortunately, it is a common experience that we fail to reproduce what we see at the seminar. Here, Dr.Rajesh says: If the participant can just clap, but can not reproduce what the teacher preaches, then the seminar is hardly a teaching place but a magic-show...The teacher at the seminar should aim at imparting his knowledge and experience in a manner that the participants be able to successfully grasp it, be able to repeatedly apply and treat the cases the way they witness at the seminar. The seminar with Dr.Rajesh will be one such truly learning event.

The Theme: Hard-core Prescribing:
The Hard-Core prescribing technique aims on arriving at the `concrete totality' of the case on the basis of `well-defined' facts and `perceivable hard data. This approach focuses on`what is to be cured 'in a patient rather than deviating in theorizing the origin of symptoms as is warned by Hahnemann. Rajesh says, in our effort to find out the genesis of symptoms, we often end up forcibly correlating a symptom with other symptom as cause and effect. As a result instead of perceiving the real picture of the case we form a `distorted totality' while analysing the case. To refrain ourselves from such a folly of false interpretation and speculation, hard-core prescribing becomes an immensely helpful method in case-analysis and it is in the true application of Hahnemann's concept of homoeopathy. This technique has been developed after years of close observation and constant meditation on homoeopathic principles. It is indeed easy to apprehend, simple to apply in practice and logical. Dr.Rajesh is known for his `Down-to-Earth' and scientific teaching.

The seminar will focus on all the vital issues encompassing the prescribing technique: 1) Systematic method of case-taking and individualisation 2) Skillful method of construction of the totality and 3) Simplified method of case-analysis.

Rajesh has introduced two original concepts in the course of thoughtful practice of classical homoeopathy. The scientificity of these concepts is confirmed by the consistent results in practice. (a.) The concept of facets (b.) The phenomenological approach.

Rajesh, emphasizes on understanding the symptomatic expressions as they are perceptible in patients and as proved in provers.

The Concept of Facets:
The Concept of facets is based on `pure' drug-proving. A medicine produces a specific disturbance manifested by a `group of symptoms' which have characteristically occurred together in drug provers. The ` occurrence of this specific combination of symptoms' is highly characteristic of the remedy and perceptible to our senses. From such a study `the concept of facets ' has emerged. Recognizing the facets of the patient and the remedy widens the horizons and the applicability of materia medica beyond fixed images.

The Phenomenological Approach:
This approach is very useful in understanding the psyche of the patient. It focuses on the study of the mind beyond just mental symptoms, while probing the secret world of patient's psychology. `The Phenomenological Approach' is a special technique of eliciting the phenomena occurring in an individual during the events causing emotional disturbance . Rajesh has done an in-depth study of the `emotions occurring in sequences' and its relation with the dynamics of repertorisation. Rajesh says, the various phenomena found in patient exhibit in itself the essential structure and make-up of the personality of the patient.

A milestone teaching:
On the turn of the century, when homoeopathy knowledge is more consolidated than ever before, a seminar with Rajesh will be a milestone event. Rajesh shows logic and science in the artistic application of homoeopathy principles. While homoeopathy is deviating towards fanciful theories, this seminar with Rajesh will prove to be a search-light event.

And...
The seminar being practice oriented, there will be paper plus video cases to illustrate various issues. The teaching includes the study of lesser known remedies as well as the study of lesser known aspects of well known remedies, with the application of the above concepts. The case analysis will involve plenty of repertorial study.

Some feedback on
Dr.Rajesh Shah's teachings:
" I have had the pleasure and privilege of Dr.Rajesh Shah's teaching at The School of Homeopathy. I was immediately impressed by his wholehearted dedication to the practice of Classical homoeopathy; also by his diligent thoroughness and the vigour with which he approaches all aspects of the subject. His insistence on inductive, logical reasoning is consistent feature of his teaching as also is the breadth and scope of his learning."
-Misha Norland,Devon,UK

" My first impression about your seminar was of your generosity: you shared what you offered intellectually and of yourselves so kindly and joyfully. I experienced a genuine humanity in your approach which means more to me than that found in the teaching of other international teachers who don't seem to have that....
"I was privileged to enjoy a week of Rajesh's teaching here in the UK some years ago. The quality of his material is immediately obvious, his approach to sharing it gentle and supportive - not only has this event stayed with me ever since, I also find myself using what he had to offer every day in clinic."
Ian Townsend M A RS Hom " Director: The School of Homoeopathic Medicine Darlington, England)

"Your new approach will open a new avenue for me in the study of homoeopathy..."
-Dr.C.S.Sayal, Derbyshire

"These two days of seminar have been filled with new and exciting ideas, concepts and practical materia medica...."
Dr. Wanters A., Chesterfield, U.K.

"Very much enjoyed being brought back to the basics of homoeopathic prescribing..."
Patricia Lecoufle, Munich, Germany

" Fantastic seminar...Very useful realistic approach..."
-Franz Scholand, Ireland

" An excellent week-end...Refreshing and alive....Your clarity regarding sound prescribing based on presenting symptoms was received and just what I needed..."
Simon Taffler, London

"In the seminar, I also got a much clear understanding of the dynamics of reperterising although it made it very evident the need of going much deeper into the materia medica."
Beat Bolster, Nottingham, England

"Interesting and challenging seminar..Great variety in presentation..I now have a better and pragmatic grasp on Hahnemannian philosophy.."
Carmal Searton, London

Dr.Rajesh is doing a good job to propogate Classical homoeopathy which is more practicable and executable by most homoeopaths. His down to earth appoches are known to me and are certainly original and impressive.
