The firm is the oldest Acturial consultancy firm in India. Founder member Mr.K.A.Pandit started practice as consulting Actuary in the year 1943.The clientele in the starting years were Insurance Companies from India ,Malaysia, East Africa,Burma,Pakistan, Sri Lanka .As the Insurance was nationalised in India in 1956, the practice continued and the area of work got expanded with Mr.D.K.Pandit joining father Mr.K.A.Pandit in 1973 .With additional qualification of law ,the firm started giving related services such as preparation of trust-deed for the various gratuity and super annuation funds.
