We are Registered with Charity Commissioner, Bombay under the name Rotary Club of Bombay Versova Charitable Trust. The trust is managed by Trustees.
 OUR PROJECTS :
1.T .B. ERADICATION:
Around 2 billion have been affected from Tuberculosis. This list is increased by 8 millions every year of which 3 million die.
Besides the illiteracy, poor hygiene, poor sanitation, the single most important factor responsible to control it is high cost regimen.
Rotary club of Bombay Versova has this as a Continuing Community Service Project since July 1991 at Versova Village, Bombay.
We help the patients by giving them free check up, free medicines, regular follow up about the treatment, Diagnosis and treatment by specialised doctors.
We have registered 972 cases out which 692 are cured with only 20% defaulting rate.

2. PUBLIC TOILETS :
A large chunk of Bombayites are living in slums. They survive in unhygienic  conditions and most of them are deprived of basic facility of attending nature's call. While travelling, you cannot avoid the sight where people are squatting.
These sanitation issues are of magnanimous nature.
Rotary Club of Bombay Versova has taken a stand to provide public conveniences at different locations in Bombay.
Constructed 30 toilets at Gilbert Hill SLUMS, Andheri, Bombay. These toilets have round the clock watchman, sweeper and a borewell to have enough water.

Funded by Matching Grant Scheme with contributions from Rotary Club of Taipei (Taiwan) and Rotary International.
Constructed 10 toilets at Veera Desai Road, Andheri, Bombay.
Renovated 20 Toilets at Gilbert Hills SLUMS, Andheri, Bombay.

3. CATARACT REMOVAL :
The world which they could see yesterday is nothing but dark today. And they are simply helpless.
 The reason, not having just enough money to get CATARACT removed.

This cost includes pre-post operative medications, sun glasses, intra-ocular lens implantation. Prevention of Blindness by Providing High-tech cataract surgery to poor and needy, free of cost. Operations by qualified eye surgeons.
